Stacking the Shelves [22]

I am joining in on Stacking The Shelves, a weekly meme hosted over at Tynga's Reviews. It is an easy way to share what books you picked up that week, and to see what other people have picked up to read themselves.

How to Participate?
  • Create your own Stacking The Shelves post. You can use my official graphic or your own, but please link back to Tynga’s Reviews so more people can join the fun!
  • You can set your post any way you want, simple book list, covers, pictures, vlog, sky is the limit!
  • I am posting Stacking The Shelves on Saturdays, but feel free to post yours any day that fits you.
  • Visit Tynga’s Reviews on Saturday and add your link so others can visit you!

THIS WEEK:

It has been quite awhile now since I have done an actual Staking the Shelves post. I had not been buying a lot of books, which on one hand was nice because I was saving some money, but on the other hand I was pretty sad about it because there are so many new releases I've had my eyes on.

This Sunday I did take my first trip to a Books-A-Million, so I did end up buying some books. I was not as impressed with the store as I thought I would be, but I suppose that some of them are bigger than others. I did manage to find a few books, though. This week B&N is doing their 25% off sale for Educators, so I will probably try to make a trip there as well.

THE HAUL:

(How adorable is that TFIOS bookmark? I couldn't pass it up.)

1. The Probability of Miracles by Wendy Wunder
2. Seventeenth Summer by Maureen Daly
3. Sixteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton
4. Crewel by Gennifer Albin (this cover doesn't match the second book in the series that I already have, but I couldn't pass it up for just three dollars.)
5. The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson

What did you guys add to your shelves this week?

  1. Been meaning to pick up Crewel. Seventeenth Summer is a good one. Happy reading.

  2. There aren't any Books-A-Millions near me, but there is one by my dad's house that I used to stop in when I visited him. It was in the mall so it didn't have the biggest inventory, but their sales are AMAZING. $4 hardcovers! I would give it a second chance if you ever hear about any of their upcoming sales.

The Crewel World series is great! The world-building is so intricate and imaginative. Gennifer Albin is so creative, it's insane. I hope you like it!

  3. Great haul this week! I have been wanting to read Crewel for so long but then never manage to actually find the time to get it! I NEED TO CHANGE THAT. I hope you enjoy your reads this week :) Here's my STS.

  4. Oh nice! I wouldn't pass up a $3 hardcover deal either! Especially if the book wasn't too worn out or anything! Plus, it's the first edition! ;) Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  5. The only ones I've heard of is the Gennifer Albin one and the Brandon Sanderson, I hate un-matching covers, but yeah, wouldn't pass that up either, haha.

  6. I absolutely LOVED Seventeenth Summer. It's actually a historical book, which I didn't realize when I picked it up, but that only made me love it more. Definitely one I need to reread, and hope you enjoy just as much!
