It's Monday! What are you Reading? [3]
Happy Monday! I'm linking up over at Book Journey again for It's Monday! What are you Reading? It is officially spring break over here for this teacher, and I could not be more excited about it. While I don't really have any plans, I'm looking forward to having the week to relax at home and get through a few books I have been wanting to read. I have decided to try to read a book a day, so we will see how that goes. Here is the plan for the week:
Monday:
The Harder I Fall by Jessica Gibson
I have heard such good things about this book, and recently I received it as a gift through winning a giveaway. A blog tour for it is coming up soon too, so I want to make sure that I give myself plenty of time to get it read and write a good review. Besides, it looks right up my alley. I feel like this is a great way to start off the week.
Tuesday:
Ellie Stanton by Aurora Zahni
I have had this one on my kindle for a couple of weeks now, but have not found the time to read it just yet. This is another one that I am participating in a blog tour for, so once again I want to make sure that I have plenty of time to read it and write a proper review. It sounds like it is going to be a great one, too, so that is a plus!
Wednesday:
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
I was supposed to read this one last week, and then time just got away from me and I read other books instead. I really do want to get started on this one though, so I plan to read it this week.
Thursday:
The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow
This is one that I received through NetGalley. I have seen lots of reviews for it, and some have been very positive, others not so much. However, I don't usually let other reviews keep me from reading a book. It might end up being just my style. I intend to read it this week and then probably have a review for it on the blog next week.
Friday:
The Selection by Kiera Cass
FINALLY I am making time to start this series. It is one that I have wanted to read for quite some time now, have finally picked it up from the library, but still have not started it. I am going to change that this week, though. I am looking forward to starting this one!
There we have it! I might read a book Saturday and Sunday as well, but I am not sure what the weekend will hold, so I do not want to hold myself to reading a book for each day as well. It might still happen, but we will see. What are you reading this week?
